This might include engines, winches, electronics, rigging, anchors, deck hardware, interior fittings, and a host of other components that can be resold, donated to boating clubs or charities, or recycled directly.
The boat breaking process also involves the safe removal and appropriate disposal of all hazardous materials — diesel and petrol fuel, lubricating oils, hydraulic fluids, batteries, antifouling paint, and any other substances that require careful handling under the Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005.
